This is what we did at France Run in Central Park

We would like to thank the organizers of France Run, a French-American 8K race in Central Park. We were invited to sing La Marseillaise and were proud to be asked to sing the Star Spangled Banner too. This is what the choir is all about: France, United States, together in song!

Check out this video of our “Marseillaise”:

The French American Choir Will Sing The French Anthem in Central Park for “France Run”

We are thrilled to announce that we were invited to sing “La Marseillaise”, the French National anthem, in Central Park on Saturday, August 29th, for the opening of “France Run”. And of course, we said “oui”!

7.000 runners from all around the world will be participating in this new 8K race. We will be singing around 7:50 am, right before the start of the race. We will be at the start line (see map here) at the 66th St level, making sure that we boost the runners before they start running.

The run will benefit an organization called Imagine for Margo, which funds research against child cancer.

We hope to see you there! With French and American flags of course, and coffee!
